Tofu Masala

I love this recipe. Originally I used peas instead of beans, but i very much prefer the beans variant. Enjoy! <3

    ingredients

  • (basmati) rice
  • curcuma
  • oil
  • salt
  • for the sauce:

  • 400g tomatoes
  • 200g green beans
  • 200ml coconut milk
  • one big clove of garlic
  • one small onion
  • 1tsp garam masala
  • ginger
  • curcuma
  • 2-3Tsp cayenne pepper
  • for the tofu:

  • 1Tsp garam masala
  • 200g tofu

    rice

  • cook rice

    tofu

  • dice tofu, mix with garam masala, curcuma and salt, fry in oil

    sauce

  • sautee onion and garlic
  • add ginger, curcuma, cayenne pepper and garam masala
  • add tomatoes and coconut milk
  • simmer for 8 minutes
  • add beans (or peas), simmer for 5 minutes
  • add tofu and serve with rice :)
